Boston Marathon

Boston - Strong

On April 18th, Fowler High Precision President & CEO David Francis will once again pull on and tie his running and set out to run the Boston Marathon. Starting off in Hopkington, MA Along with 35,000 fellow runners David will run the historic and grueling 26.2 mile course into the heart of Boston and the marathon’s finish line.

This is David’s second Boston marathon. His desire to run his second marathon is not purely out of pleasure or for fitness. His drive and determination are for bigger reasons - charity. David Francis is running to save lives.

In 2015’s Boston Marathon David Francis raised over twenty-thousand dollars for the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children’s Cancer Center. This year, along with his own generous contribution, David will again be raising additional money via the sponsorship of friends, family, business associates and other supporters. All of it goes to funding critical and much-needed pediatric cancer treatment and research.

David Francis’ run against cancer is a personal one which is close to his heart, his family and the company he leads. David is running in the memory of his late father-in-law and Fowler High Precision founder and namesake Fred V. Fowler Jr., as well as long time Fowler business associate the late Martin Luboviski of Product Engineering Corp. Both victims of cancer.

We at Fowler proudly congratulate David Francis on his decision to run again and wish him great success in the 2016 race. We’ll be keeping everyone informed of his training progress and following him the day of the race. Many of us here at Fowler are contributing to this important cause and we’re offering our precision partners, business associates, customers and friends an opportunity to as well.
